I write for people who have already cried in the yogurt aisle. Or behind a garbage truck.
Building on the success of her two previous shows, "Bad Mother" and "Selfish," Olivia Moore now presents "Yes, I Know," a cerebral and very funny stand-up about our (her) vulnerabilities.
"To write this show, I asked myself what I would talk about on stage if I were no longer ashamed of it. I did it, and it turns out it's both hilarious and liberating. So much so that you might feel like doing the same when you leave."
Because one day, that's when everything overflows: the pressures, mental load, family ghosts, absurd expectations.
Yes, I Know is a show for those who juggle between awareness and survival, who laugh to avoid screaming, who just wish to be taken seriously without having to hold a Zoom meeting for it.
It's stand-up, yes, direct, introspective, absurd, always human.
