QUALITY LABEL COMFORT ACCOMMODATION BY RISOUL

In order to better qualify the accommodation offer and to promote the comfort of furnished tourist accommodation, the resort is creating a “Quality Comfort Accommodation” label, based on qualitative criteria: general aesthetics, comfort, level of equipment and services, expressed from 1 to 5 pillows.
It is recognized throughout the “Risoul” destination.

The Tourist Office is launching this label to promote the destination's tourist real estate.

This internal label complements the ministerial classification "furnished tourist accommodation" which induces certain advantages, notably fiscal, but which does not entirely meet the comfort criteria required by current tourist customers.
This approach provides the impetus for moving upmarket in the quality of accommodation.
 
A guarantee of Quality and Comfort:
Quality of materials, homogeneity of furniture, ambient lighting, harmony of colors and textiles.
Integrated and functional kitchen and bathroom.
Impeccable bedding: density of mattresses, duvets, pillows, mattress pads and pillow protectors.
Sufficient storage and hooks: dressing rooms, built-in cupboards, etc.
Equipment: dishwasher, extractor hood, matching crockery and table linens, washing machine, towel radiator, bath/shower screen, flat screen TV, connected speaker or stereo.
WIFI connection.
Reception of customers by the owner or an agent.
Provision of tourist documentation.
Cleaning services and rental of bed linen/bath towels or childcare equipment.

How to obtain the label for your furnished accommodation?
All types of accommodation are concerned, whether intended for rental or not.

Why not offer furnished tourist accommodation?

For years, furnished tourist accommodation has been very successful with the public who
considers them to be an ideal accommodation solution, for holidays, for a weekend
end, for a business trip or to visit friends or family.
 
What is a furnished tourist accommodation?

The furnished tourist accommodation is a furnished house, apartment or studio, for use exclusive to the tenant, rented to a passing clientele who spends a stay there characterized by a rental for the day, week or month and who does not take up residence there (Code of Tourism – Art D324-1).
The rental period for the same person cannot exceed 90 days or 12 weeks
consecutive (Art 1-1 Hoguet Law n°70-9 of January 2, 1970).

The classification is voluntary and not obligatory, it is awarded for a period of 5 years. For to be classified, the furnished tourist accommodation must meet the criteria of the classification reference system following the decree of November 24, 2021 amending the decree of August 2, 2010.
This framework includes 133 control criteria divided into three chapters:
- Equipment and arrangements,
- Customer services,
- Accessibility and sustainable development.

 Reassure customers with better information on the quality of housing, the amenities and services offered,
 Win customers and retain them by differentiating yourself from the competition,
 Be able to affiliate with the National Agency for Holiday Vouchers,
Be visible on various communication tools,
 Benefit from a more advantageous tax advantage: 71% tax reduction instead of 50% under the Micro-Bic regime.

Remember to declare your furnished tourist accommodation at the town hall!

The declaration of the furnished accommodation to the town hall is obligatory, whether the furnished accommodation is classified or not.
Please note: the owner who does not declare his furnished accommodation is exposed to a 3rd class fine:
