Nomad River School welcomes you to share the valleys, rivers and landscapes of the High Alps. You can "taste" whitewater on more than fifteen different courses, adapted to your level and desires.
Welcome to Nomad River School.
Looking for a fun way to cool off or discover our beautiful valleys from the water? We offer rafting (inflatable boats for 3 to 9 people), airboating (inflatable kayaks for 1 to 2 people), kayak school and canyoning.
There's something for all tastes and ages: the first courses are accessible from age 3, then the sensations gradually increase to reach sporting courses, even extreme for the adventurous. Whether you're with family or friends, you'll be amazed by this unique experience. Toasted marshmallows on the Durance with the little ones, snacks on the Guil sports trails and a good mood are guaranteed on every descent.
The Durance offers a perfect family trail with stops for jumping, animals, snacks, toasted marshmallows and cookies.
The Guil in the magnificent Queyras valley offers a wide range of sporting routes, as does the Ubaye or the Gyronde. All our services are by the half-day with a guide, compulsory warm equipment and transport. We do a lot of à la carte work, so we invite you to find out more. If you want more, we offer winter and spring kayaking, canyoning and rafting trips, all à la carte and all over the world (Morocco, Colombia, Turkey, Nepal, Italy, Ecrins, Pyrenees, Mercantour...).

Kayaking: learn to kayak with passionate guides
Canyon: Jump, slide and rope descent
We are open from May to September, please contact us in advance for the rest of the year. All activities are available every day in half-day sessions (about 4 hours) with a meeting at our base. We only make 2 runs a day, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., to take our time and ensure quality. We supply all safety and thermal equipment. For your part, all you need to bring is closed-toe shoes, a swimsuit and a big smile!
