At Risoul, beginner skiers are treated like royalty!
Ski lifts and slopes are accessible for free to beginners*, making this the perfect place to discover the joy of skiing
GENTLY BUT SURELY!
The Beginner Area is a fun, welcoming zone where the warm, family-friendly spirit of the resort is everywhere. Starting from the front of the resort, the Télépulsé (R1) takes you up in about ten minutes.
Once you arrive, the lively atmosphere is infectious: smiles, laughter, children’s voices and ski instructors full of enthusiasm greet you! Several ski slopes have been specially designed and arranged for learning. The gentle, progressive terrain makes it easier for both adults and children to feel the first sensations of sliding and making their first turns.
The ski lifts here are also adapted to beginners: one Télépulsé and two surface lifts are available, with attendants always present to help.
Here, families come together. Whether you ski or not, it doesn’t matter — everyone enjoys the experience.
HOW TO ACCESS IT:
It’s simple — just go to the main lift ticket offices to get a forfait card for €2.00, then freely access the Beginner Area using the Télépulsé (R1) from the Risoul 1850 front of the resort.
FAMILY, HEIGHT & RELAXATION
The Beginner Area’s proximity to the resort makes it an ideal place. Even non-skiers can take the Télépulsé to enjoy a bit of altitude, relax, have a picnic at one of the tables scattered around, or simply watch the little ones make progress.
For a more comfortable meal, the Le Clos Fournier restaurant proudly overlooks the Télépulsé summit — perfect for a quick meal on the terrace or a more gourmet experience inside.
