The staff of the Centre Hospitalier des Escartons de Briançon (CHEB) welcomes you to the heart of the ancient medieval region known as "Les Escartons" in Briançon, a name that evokes the links between the inhabitants of the Briançonnais and the Italian inhabitants on either side of the current border. Located in a relatively isolated region where communications can be difficult due to the altitude and snow cover, the Hospital Centre has a medical and technical platform available 24 hours a day.

Thanks to its potential of health professionals, the CHEB offers numerous consultations, generalist and specialist medical care. It is a Medical-Surgical-Obstetrical (MCO) and Psychiatric establishment; it welcomes, depending on the season, many patients from the region but also tourists and a growing Italian clientele.
